Applications of the small vibration motors
Need-For-Power motor had been developed for over 11 years since 2005. It’s using in more and more digital products in our lives. Digital Products on the individual requirements of NFP micro motors stimulated the creation of China manufacturer inspiration. In addition to traditional digital products, new applications of NFP micro motor is also continually expanding.

Apply to hand-held radio to provide a vibration alerts
Vibration motors add an extra dimension to the user interface, suitable for use with batteries in portable Products, the bibrating motors can be used for haptic devices, haptic keypad, haptic switch, haptic feedback vibration, haptic input device, haptic feedback device, haptic technology companies, massage motors, haptic motor controller, haptic hardware, haptic phone.
Xiaomi Bluetooth Gamepad Dual Vibrators Game Controller
Built-in gravity sensors, gives 3X gravity acceleration, dual motor vibration bring your real game experience. Games controllers use the haptic feedback and ‘ dual vibe ‘ system became very popular thanks to the enhanced tactile feedback of two vibrating motors, one for the light vibration and the other for heavy vibration feedback.

Immersion – Touch technology – made for the digital world
Immersion touch technology is leading the change to the user experience. Haptics add touch to digital world, making it more vibrant and realistic. Immersion works with content creators and device makers to grow the adoption of haptics feedback, and create fun and enjoyable tactile experiences. Immersion TouchSense technology is available only on Android devices. Immersion licenses touch feedback technology. They develop software and enabling toolkits to make it easier for our customers to implement haptics. Their technology is in billions of devices – smart phones, tablets, wearables, medical devices, automobiles and gaming peripherals. Their technology brings the sense of touch to digital content, creating an experience that is engaging, impactful and ultimately, more real. Their tools, deep expertise and intellectual property make high quality haptics possible.

Coin Vibration Motor
Pancake motors are compact and convenient to use. They integrate into many designs, because they have no external moving parts, and just can be affixed in place with the adhesive sticker on the back of it. The required voltage for the MetaWear vibration motor is usually about 3V (60mA).
Wearable Tech Application
There is very little doubt that wearable tech is only getting more popular all over the world. What is a relatively new revelation is that the market is moving from something from the enterprise world.
Smartwatches such as the Apple Watch are just going to be the biggest beneficiaries plan. Of those all companies that are just going to be launching wearable device support as a company policy, 81 percent will be using smart watches to do it.
Robotic Surgery Haptic Feedback
Minimally invasive surgery is becoming more popular. A surgeon uses video game like controls to manipulate robotic arms with long tools on them. These surgical robotic systems do not provide haptic feedback. This can result in accidents that cause bleeding or broken sutures.
Apple watch: apple’s first wearable device and smartwatch
keywords: wearable tech, apple watch, apple, vibrate alert
Apple’s highly anticipated entry into the world of wearable technology is the apple watch, CEO Tim Cook announced on tuesday.
The apple watch will monitor health and fitness, tracking the wearer’s movement, heartrate and activity with all the built-in sensors, feeding the information into Apple’s Health app for the iPhone and iPad and allowing review and analysis of the data.
“This is the most personal device we’ve ever created,” said Apple’s chief executive Tim Cook. “We’ve set up to make the best watch in the world. One that is precise. It’s synced with a universal time standard.” Apple company joins Samsung, Motorola and Sony with smartwatch that measures health and activity data.
New Tactile Display Sends Information Through Skin

Your sense of touch could be the next frontier in relaying valuable context -ual information if the new research currently being conducted at MIT proves successful. Researchers believe it may be possible to design wearable arrays of GPS-enabled vibration motors that provide simple navigational cues or detailed data through a kind of tactile Morse code. This could lead to non-visual haptic display technic
– why not check your email without even opening your eyes? While all skin is capable of detecting tactile inter -actions, not all of it is equally sensitive. Just like screen resolution for the visual data, the larger the array of vibration motors, the more detailed the haptic data stream can be.
To determine how well people can identify touch input, Jones has designed and built a pair of wearable devices. The first consists
of eight accelerometers tied into a pancake vibration motor of the same sort used in cell phones. This allowed researchers to gauge how far vibrations propagate through skin. They found that the vibration was not detectable 8mm from the motor.
Fundawear: Arduino finds its way into your underwear
keywords: durex, vibrating underwear, app-controlled vibrations
The vibrating underwear announced by condom-maker Durex has clearly touched a sensitive nerve around the world judging by the number of stories about the remotely-control masturbation undies that have flashed up on major media websites. But what s actually inside the underpants and bra that are designed to let you deliver app-controlled vibrations to your partner’s hot private regions even when you are not there?
The microcontroller deals with what are five small piezo vibration elements sown into each of the garments and powered just by a standard 9-volt battery. So Yates’ conclusion is that Fundawear is basically series of piezo vibration elements driven regular by an Arduino-class micro-controller board over a Wi-Fi network connection and controlled by an iPhone over the web.
As for the garments themselves the circuit board and battery are located in an enclosed rear panel of the underwear covered by Neoprene layer to supposedly reduce the discomfort with the piezo elements discretely located elsewhere. Intrigued by the use of Arduino our chief reviewer and Arduino expert Darren Yates popped out of the labs to have a chat to Morgan.
What can Need-For-Power Motor do?
By introducing tactile feedback to touch interfaces in these applications, users gain extra confidence and task completion times are reduced. This ultimately increases the user’s overall experience and the HMI system’s efficiency.
NFP-motor offers a complete line of haptic feedback solutions which have the ability to offer eccentric rotating mass (ERM), linear resonant actuator (LRA), and piezoelectric actuators. NFP’s haptic feedback motors have the ability to provide high quality haptic feedback that is consistent across time, environmental conditions and unit variations. This allows for maximum impact to the user.
